VOICE FOR PODCASTERS

I’ve been listening to quite a number of podcasts lately, thanks to my new acquaintance with a podcaster whom I met one evening at a Pecha Kucha Night in Petaling Jaya – Ling Ling Tai, an affable lady with her own highly successful podcast, Leaders of Learning.
Since meeting Ling Ling I’ve subscribed to a number of podcasts, ranging from storytelling, productivity, entertainment and many other genres. However, I can’t seem to find the right time to listen to them regularly. When I’m in the car, I tend to have the GPS navigation on and so the voice from Waze rules. But when I do get to have a moment to listen to a few different podcasts, I realised the importance of voice and sound for podcasters.
Coincidently, after mulling over whether I should include podcasting in my scope of brand awareness, Ling Ling contacted me and invited me to be one of the speakers of the Asian Podcast Summit happening in November. What an honour to be asked. Of course, I accepted and hope the summit will bring much value and insight for the podcasting community.
