If the thought of speaking on camera makes you cringe, you’re not alone.
Speaking well on video is not easy for many people especially if you’re not used to being in front of the camera. The microphone for me, no problem. But the camera .. no way.
Glad to say I’ve improved considerably over the years and here’s how I did it. I hope these might help some of you too:
- Keep doing it. Often.
- Speak with an energy that projects that you have pleasure in what you’re sharing.
- Smile. It’s that easy.
- Look into the lens. Don’t forget to blink.
- Plan ahead with an outline or structure.
- Practice beforehand.
